Whether you're starting your morning slow or looking for a little afternoon snack, this self-made muesli is like a warm hug in a bowl. Let's dive into something truly made with heart!

Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats

  • Nuts (almonds, peanuts, macadamia, walnut)

  • Dried Apple

  • Sultanas

  • Pumpkin Seed

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly grease a baking tray with olive oil and spread a thin, even layer of oats over it.

Make sure the tray is well covered without piling the oats too thickly.

Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180°C and toast the oats until they are lightly toasted golden and fragrant.

Step 2

Meanwhile, prepare your choice of nuts by chopping them into smaller pieces. Spread the chopped nuts on a second baking tray, also greased with olive oil, and toast them in the oven until they turn a light toasty golden brown.

Step 3

Repeat this process as needed, depending on the quantity of muesli you wish to prepare. Transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Stir gently and allow the mixture to cool completely.

Step 4

While the oats and nuts are cooling, finely chop dried apples, sultanas, or any other dried fruits you prefer. Add the chopped fruits to the cooled oat and nut mixture.

You can also enhance your muesli by adding additional ingredients etc. coconut flakes or pumpkin seeds.
